This Privacy Policy describes how Dubai Painting Services — Premium Residential & Commercial Painters ("Dubai Painting Services", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, shares and protects your personal information when you visit our website, request a quote, book a service, or otherwise interact with us. We take your privacy seriously and have built our processes around three principles: collect only what we need, use it only for stated purposes, and give you full control over your own data.

  • Information you give us directly when requesting a quote, booking a service or contacting us — typically your name, phone number, email address, property address, project details, and photographs of the property you upload.
  • Information generated during a project — work orders, payment records, signed quotes and invoices, before and after photographs, warranty registrations, and service notes written by our supervisors.
  • Information automatically collected when you use our website — IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, pages visited, time on page, and similar technical data collected via cookies and analytics.
  • Information from third-party sources — when you reach us through a referral platform, social network or marketplace, we may receive basic contact details from that source.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information only for the purposes we told you about when we collected it, which are:

  • To prepare and deliver the painting services you requested, including site visits, quotes, scheduling, invoicing, payment processing and after-sales support.
  • To communicate with you about your project — appointment confirmations, reschedule requests, progress updates and warranty follow-ups.
  • To submit community or developer approvals (NAKHEEL, EMAAR, TRAKHEES and others) where required to access your property lawfully.
  • To improve our services by analysing aggregated website data and client feedback.
  • To send occasional service-relevant messages — for example a seasonal reminder before the next exterior paint cycle — which you can unsubscribe from at any time.
  • To comply with our legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.

3. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Our website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies:

  • Essential cookies keep the site functional — saving a session, remembering form inputs, maintaining security.
  • Analytics cookies (typically Google Analytics) help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Data is aggregated and anonymised.

  • Developers and community managers (NAKHEEL, EMAAR, TRAKHEES and others) — but only the minimum details required to obtain an access permit or NOC for your specific project.
  • Regulatory authorities where legally required — for example a Dubai Municipality audit or a compliance request from TRAKHEES.
  • Professional advisors such as auditors, insurers and legal counsel, bound by professional confidentiality.

We never share your data with advertisers, lead-generation networks, or competing contractors.

5. Data Security

We protect your personal information using a mix of technical and organisational measures:

  • Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) on our website and customer portal.
  • Password-protected customer management software with individual staff access logs.
  • Two-factor authentication for administrator accounts.
  • Regular backups stored on encrypted cloud infrastructure.
  • Staff training on data protection and confidentiality.
  • Physical security for paper records — locked filing cabinets in a restricted area.

No transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we maintain reasonable and appropriate safeguards. If we ever experience a data breach affecting your information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities within 72 hours.

  • Quotes that did not convert to a project — 12 months.
  • Completed project records (to honour warranty) — 10 years.
  • Invoicing, tax and accounting records — 7 years (as required by UAE law).
  • Newsletter subscriptions — until you unsubscribe.
  • Website analytics — anonymised after 26 months.

Records are then securely deleted or anonymised.

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are directed at adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. International Data Transfers

Some of our third-party service providers operate servers outside the UAE (typically within the EU or USA). When data is transferred internationally, we use providers who guarantee protection equivalent to UAE standards — for example Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

Our website may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Please read their policies before sharing information with them.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top tells you when. Material changes will be notified via email to active clients and a prominent notice on our website homepage. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
